Take the Floor to a Big Big World

I was doing a live session for BBC Radio Scotland’s “Take the Floor” last night with the James Ross Trio, featuring James, myself and Duncan Lyall, on double bass. Bruce Macgregor was filling in for Robbie and done a great job. The show goes out in the next of couple of weeks.

Tonight i’m playing with Angus Lyon & Ruaridh Campbell as part of the Big Big World festival that’s on in Glasgow just now. Also in the band is Duncan on double bass and Colin Train, doubling up with Angus on keys and accordion. It’s mostly sets from their new album, 18 months later, and should be a cracker.

Dòchas Tour

Just finished a string of dates with Dòchas that took us as far north as Strathy, all the way down to London and then over to Denmark for a few days. It was great catching up with the girls. We had to make time for a bit of shopping, but that’s only to be expected :-)
